Nintendo Announced OVERCOOKED 2 To Release This August

The sequel to the 2016 co-op multiplayer cooking game Overcooked, has just been announced by Nintendo a few days ago. Overcooked 2 will still feature everything we love about the original game, but will include an online multiplayer mode.

In Overcooked 2, teams of up to four players will be able to band together in local wireless and online multiplayer. Several new gameplay mechanics, new characters, and new locations will be available in the sequel. Moreover, developer Ghost Town and publisher Team17 promised tons of new recipes for players to bake and burn. Lastly, players will now be able to throw ingredients at each other as stages will change dramatically instantly.

Overcooked 2 is scheduled to release on the Nintendo Switch on August 7. The announcement did not specify whether the game will remain a Nintendo exclusive. However, just as its predecessor, it is expected that Overcooked 2 will be released on multiple platforms. Check out the gameplay trailer below.

In Case You’re Wondering How the Characters of AQUAMAN will Talk Underwater, Here’s Your Answer

Remember in Justice League with Mera and Aquaman had a conversation in a big bubble underwater? That was kinda silly because, as many of you already know, Atlanteans don’t need air to talk.

After fans criticized that scene and wondered if they would be doing that in the standalone Aquaman film, director James Wan teased on Twitter:

"Fret not, no 'air bubbles for dialogue' in my underwater world."

This led to a lot of speculation as to how the Wan would handle the dialogue underwater and apparently the fans have been overthinking it. While talking about the film with EW, the director made it very clear how he was going to have the characters talk underwater.

"People are overthinking it. They’re just gonna talk!"

So, the characters will speak normally while hanging out in the depths of the ocean. Wan then adds one other little detail. He says there will be a little visual effect as Atlanteans speak, and suggests sound waves.

I imagine that we'll get a little taste of this in the upcoming trailer for the film. I can't wait to see what that trailer entails! I've seen a lot of great stuff from the film, but most of the visual effects in that footage were unfinished.

Jason Momoa will be joined by Willem Dafoe as Vulko; Temuera Morrison (Green Lantern) as Tom Curry; Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables films) as Nereus; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II(The Get Down) as Black Manta; Ludi Lin (Power Rangers) as Murk; with Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring films, Watchmen) as Orm/Ocean Master; and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna.

Aquaman will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.

Aquaman is set to be released December 21, 2018.

Honest Trailer For THE INCREDIBLES – “The Best Fantastic 4 Movie Ever Made”

We've got another great episode of Honest Trailers from Screen Junkies and this time they set their sights on Pixar's The Incredibles. With the sequel coming out this weekend, it only makes sense that they would release this now.

It's pretty crazy that it took 14 years to get a sequel to this movie, but it happened and according to those who have seen it already, the movie is a perfect sequel! You can read all the positive buzz for it here.

One of my favorite things about this Honest Trailer is how they make a point of saying that The Incredibles is the best Fantastic 4 movie that's ever been made.

I also like how they point out that the villain of Syndrome has become more relevant over time as he's a perfect prediction of today's entitled fan culture. He's a fanboy who turns against his heroes when they don't live up to his expectations... sound familiar?

John Cena and Jackie Chan are Teaming Up For the Action-Thriller PROJECT X

John Cena is replacing Sylvester Stallone in the upcoming Jackie Chan action-thriller called Project X.

The film is set at a Chinese-run oil refinery in the Middle East. Chan will play a "Chinese private security contractor who is tasked with extracting oil workers from a refinery that’s been attacked." He will team up with a former U.S. Marine played by Cena, when he learns that the attackers’ real plan is to steal the oil.

The movie is set to be directed by Scott Waugh (Need For Speed). Cena and Chan should make a good on-screen team, but I still would have liked to see the Chan and Stallone team-up. There's no word on why he's no longer involved.

Cena has been blowing up in Hollywood recently. He's come a long way since The Marine. He just starred in the film Blockers and he's also going to be in the upcoming Bumblebee movie and another film called The Janson Directive.

Jeremy Renner Reveals How He Broke His Arms Filming TAG and Watch a Funny New Clip and Featurette

We recently reported that Jeremy Renner broke both of his arms on the set of his new movie Tag and not the Avengers movies. The source for the article was Jon Hamm who worked with Renner on Tag.

It appears that Renner is now backing up Hamm’s statement and tells us exactly how he broke his arms and the impact that had on the film while being interviewed by Jimmy Fallon. What’s even better than that story though, is the story Renner tells about getting locked in a bathroom while filming.

Tag looks like a lot of fun to watch and I can’t wait for it to be released on June 15, 2018. I also included a funny new clip and a featurette for you to watch! Enjoy!

Jon Bernthal To Join Matt Damon and Christian Bale in Ford Vs. Ferrari Movie

The Punisher star Jon Bernthal is in negotiations to join Matt Damon and Christian Bale in Fox’s upcoming Ford vs. Ferrari movie. The movie is based on A.J. Baime’s 2010 book Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans, and it's being directed by James Mangold (Logan).

The story follows an "eccentric, determined team of American engineers and designers, led by automotive visionary Carroll Shelby (Damon) and his British driver, Ken Miles (Bale), who are dispatched by Henry Ford II and Iacocca with the mission of building from scratch an entirely new automobile with the potential to finally defeat the perennially dominant Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans World Championship in France."

Bernthal will take on the role of Lee Iacocca, who spearheaded the development of the Ford Mustang. The car debuted in 1964 and it became Ford's most successful launch since the Model A.

The movie also stars Caitriona Balfe as Miles’ wife and Noah Jupe will play their son. The script comes from screenwriters Jez and John-Henry Butterworth who worked on the film Edge of Tomorrow

There's a solid team of talented individuals working on this untitled movie which means it's probably gonna be great!

Ewan McGregor Will Play Danny Torrance in Stephen King’s THE SHINING Sequel DOCTOR SLEEP

Ewan McGregor has been cast in the lead role of Danny Torrance in Warner Bros. adaptation of Stephen King's Doctor Sleep, which is a sequel to The Shining. I was wondering who they would cast in this role and McGregor is freakin' perfect!

The film is being directed by Mike Flanagan previously directed Oculus, OuijaGerald's Game and Hush, all of which were solid movies, especially Gerald's Game which was another Stephen King story.

The studio is not only developing this sequel to The Shining, they are also developing a prequel called Overlook Hotel. The films have been in development for years, but since IT was a huge hit, they are really interested in moving forward with these.

The Shining centers on Jack Torrance, his wife Wendy, and their son Danny as they live in the haunted Overlook Hotel during the winter season to take care of it. It's there that the hotel possesses Jack and he slowly becomes possessed by the hotel and nightmarishly torments his wife and son.

Doctor Sleep takes place several years after the events that took place at the Overlook Hotel. It focuses on Jack's son Danny who is now a middle-aged man. He is still traumatized by what happened at the hotel all those years ago and he throughout his life he had to deal with anger management and alcoholism issues. However, in an effort to get his life back together, he gives up drinking and settles down in a small town in New Hampshire. It is at this point in his life where his psychic abilities start to resurface and he develops a psychic link with a 12-year-old girl named Abra Stone. Turns out this girl's life is being threatened by a tribe of paranormals who suck the energy from people. They are led by a man named Rose the Hat and Danny has to save her from them.

What do you think about McGregor taking on the role of Jack's son Danny Torrance?

New WONDER WOMAN 1984 Details Involving Cheetah, a Lynda Carter Easter Egg, and Steve Trevor Rocks a Fanny Pack

We've got a few little new details to share with you regarding Wonder Woman 1984! We saw a couple official photos recently of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). Now we've learned some new details regarding Kristen Wiig's character Cheetah and a couple of other fun things that were spotted in a set photo.

First, here's the new information that was revealed involving Cheetah. This news comes from Vulture entertainment reporter Kyle Buchanan

That seems like the version of the character in the Greg Rucka and Liam Sharp's Wonder Woman: Rebirth storyline. In that story, Barbara Minerva is an archeologist who was considered Diana Prince's best friend. She ends up being cursed by the god Urzkartaga, which is what results in her transformation into Cheetah. She blames Diana for this and ends up being her enemy.

This is just speculation on the information given, but it seems like a good bet that the film's story could go in that direction.

Then below you'll find a set photo below of Diana Prince and Steve Trevor. In that photo you can see Gal Gadot wearing a similar outfit as Lynda Carter from the original 80s series. The other funny thing that I noticed is that Steve Trevor is rocking a fanny pack! Classic 80s!

Kids today have the best toys, video games, animation, and programming of any generation before them, and yet, they still get down with Mister Rogers. ABC news did a piece on the lasting legacy of Fred Rogers, and in that segment showed a group of kids watching an episode of his series. All of the kids loved it, and said they'd watch it again every day if given the chance. I think this just inspired me to find a bunch of his dvds to keep for my children in the future, what about you?:

Bandai’s DRAGON BALL Adverge Figures Give Nappa a Toupee

A tweet was recently sent out to show off the new Dragon Ball Adverge figurines from Bandai. Overall, they look pretty cool and a great collectible for any Dragon Ball fan. There’s one figure that seems to come with a special gift: Nappa. Nappa is Vegeta’s original “friend” who dies in the first saga of Dragon Ball Z. He’s bald. Oddly enough, the figure will come with a toupee. Have I missed something in Dragon Ball Super? I don’t think it looks very good either. I just don’t understand why they included such a random add-on for Nappa, unless there’s something in Dragon Ball Super or one of the specials that I missed. Do you like Nappa with or without hair?

According to the tweet, it looks like the figures will go on sale in August in Japan for about 500 yen.
