Shia LaBeouf and director David Ayer previously worked together on the 2014 World War II movie Fury, and now they are reteaming for a new film called Tax Collector.

The movie is a crime thriller that Ayer will direct from a script that he wrote. There are no details on the story, but it will be set in Los Angeles and Bobby Soto will also star.

I like that Ayer and LaBeouf will be working together again. LaBeouf may be a crazy, off the wall kind of guy, but he's a great actor. He most recently starred in the tennis drama Borg vs. McEnroe, which he was great in. He also recently wrapped filming on Honey Boy, which he wrote and is based on his relationship with his father.

The last movie that Ayer directed was the Netflix film Bright, and he'll be back to direct the sequel for that.

Ayer has made a lot of hit or miss movies in his career. I personally like the majority of the films that he's made and I always look forward to seeing what kind of crazy movies he makes.
