As Deadpool 2 continues to blow up at the box office, Ryan Reynolds has found his next film project. He will be teaming up with director Michael Bay for a Netflix film called Six Underground. This is the first time the two have worked together but it seems like it's been a long time coming.
The script for the film comes from Deadpool scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who also came up with the original idea. There's no information on what the film will be about, but it will be an action movie, and I'm, sure that Reynolds was hired to bring a good mix of badassery and humor to the film.
Six Underground was originally set up at Paramount Pictures, but Netflix ended up with it after they committed to the $125 million budget. This makes Six Underground the biggest and most expensive film production to date beating out Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, which had a budget of $106 million.
There's a great team of talent behind this new film project and it will be interesting to see what it actually turns out to be and what the story will tell.
