Marvel recently shared a new special look at Avengers: Infinity War on the Disney Channel during the premiere of their original movie Zombies. That promo has now been released online for you to enjoy. The special look is introduced by Tom Holland and it features a combination of footage from the previously released trailers.
I'm actually ok with Marvel not showing us any more footage from this movie. I'm already sold! Of course, I'm sure somewhere down the line we will get another trailer filled with new footage, and how can I not watch that!?
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
The cast for the film includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olson, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Tom Holland, Paul Rudd, and Josh Brolin.
The Anthony and Joe Russo-directed film is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
Oscar Isaac is a big shot successful actor in the present, but in the past, he was almost a failure. Isaac told Jimmy Kimmel he didn't graduate with his class in high school because he didn't finish P.E.! Listen to Isaac recall summer school which he described as recess, and how it obviously led to him being the huge success he is now. Anyone else here fail out of P.E.?
If you grew up in the 1990’s you may remember Furbies. They were cute little toys that could speak, and you could even teach them new things to say. I never had one, but my friends and I often joked about getting one and teaching it to laugh maniacally before setting it on fire and posting it on YouTube. What we have in this video is ten times scarier. YouTuber LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER has built an organ, but instead of pipes he uses Furbies. This took him a lot of work, and you can even see him do some of the work while he plays a “lovely” song on the organ. If you’re needing your daily dose of “why would they do this” I highly recommend watching this video.
I love Bill Murray in movies like Groundhog Day and Zombieland. He’s hilarious. I don’t know how I feel about his latest fashion endeavor though. Murray has decided to team up with Betabrand to crowdfund a new line of bell-bottom pants called Bill-Bottoms. One pair will set you back $100.30, but comes in the signature “Lucy the Caboosie” print that pays tribute to Murray’s mother. The pants are 95% polyester with the other 5% being spandex. If you’re a golfer, great news; the pockets are designed to be “spacious” and “ball-accomodating”. I’m not a big fan of bell-bottoms, but I do think these are fun. If you want to go back to the 70’s and get yourself a pair of Bill-Bottoms, go to the link and help fund this project. As of this writing, it has 23 days left and is only at 63% of its goal.
Long story short: electricity. Kyle Hill is the host of Because Science with Kyle Hill and it’s a fun show where Hill tries to use science to explain different aspects of popular culture. For example, a few weeks ago, he talked about Magneto creating small metal balls to escape his plastic prison in X2. In the most recent episode, Hill tackles Super Saiyans from Dragon Ball Z. How could Super Saiyans be scientific? Well, Hill looks at electricity for the answers to the hair standing up, the aura, the power of flight, and even energy blasts. It’s important to note that Dragon Ball Z is not bound by science and that’s the real reason for all of those awesome traits, but it’s still fun to see what possibilities there are for our own world.
Wired is back with another edition of having celebrities answer the web's most searched questions about them, and they really went all out with Black Panther! Watch below as Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o answer questions about themselves as well as the film. I was honestly surprised at the amount of knowledge Michael B. Jordan had on the comicbook universe of Marvel, but I guess this isn't his first rodeo in the MCU so he may have been a fan prior to filming this role:
Remember that chapter of Harry Potter and the Portrait of What Looked Like a Large Pile of Ash? It was freaking hilarious. The same people, Botnik Studios, are up to their hilarious antics once again, but Potter is not their target. Instead, the predictive keyboard enthusiasts have created an episode of the beloved Star Trek: The Next Generation. This is my favorite Star Trek series and I could not stop laughing. My wife had to ask if I was ok. I was better than ok. I hope you enjoy this! Just wait until you hear whose heart Worf is the captain of...
The comedian Michelle Wolf is stepping up and getting her own talk show on Netflix. She’s been a contributor on both The Daily Show and Late Night with Seth Meyers, but it looks like she’s ready to step into the spotlight with her own show. The show does not have a name yet, but I personally would love it to be a play on her last name. As far as the content, it looks like it will not be about making the news fun, but rather she’ll be making fun of “everything and everybody” according to Coming Soon. Wolf herself has said that the audience “can expect the types of jokes my former bosses would tell me we couldn’t do on TV.” That’s pretty vague but looks like it will be a much edgier talk show than most. The show will premiere later this year and will feature Wolf as executive producer along with Dan Powell and Christine Nangle. Would you rather watch this new talk show, or the one being put out by Joel McHale?
Who doesn’t want a jacket or hoodie based on their favorite character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Well, you can head over to Film Jackets and get an awesome option for you. They currently have a lot of options for Black Panther if you want something before going to see the new film, or if you just want to prepare for Avengers: Infinity War. I actually really like this hoodie. I think the necklace logo looks really good on this hoodie. For the jackets, I think my favorite is the Captain America jacket. They even have Gamora’s coat from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that reviewers are loving for their cosplay endeavors. Overall, these items look really good, but they are a bit pricey. If you’re on a budget, you may need to hold off on the nice leather jackets.
It may not seem like the most important thing in films, but song selection is definitely important. Don't believe me? Check out this scene from Star Wars with another song implemented that's a little less doom and gloom than the "Imperial March," and watch the scene transform into something else entirely.
