Ever since Duncan Jones started talking about his film project Mute, I've been wanting to see it. This is a passion project for him and he's been developing it for the past 12-years. Well, we won't have to wait much longer before we finally get to see it. The director was asked on Twitter when the movie would be released, he revealed that it is coming next month.

Shhh! I’m not supposed to know yet!
He then added a little info one where the film currently stands in development, saying:
Waiting on frickin regional sub titles to be finished. All the tech checks on vfx now completed.— Duncan Jones (@ManMadeMoon) January 7, 2018
So, it sounds like it's pretty much ready to go! Mute stars Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Rudd, and Justin Theroux, and the director has said that the movie is a homage to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner as well as a "spiritual sequel" to Jones’ amazing film Moon.
Jones, who most recently directed Warcraft, is very excited about this movie and so am I! I'm sure we'll see the first trailer for it soon, so stay tuned. In the meantime, here's the synopsis:
Set in the near-future, Leo (Alexander Skarsgård) is a bartender living in the pulsing city of Berlin. Because of a childhood accident, Leo lost the ability to speak and the only good thing in his life is his beautiful girlfriend Naadirah (Seyneb Saleh). When she vanishes without a trace, Leo’s search for her takes him deep into the city’s seedy underbelly. A pair of wise-cracking American surgeons (Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux) are the only recurring clue and Leo is forced to take on this teeming underworld in order to find his love.on Netflix.
