Nintendo Shipped 1.7 Million SNES Classics In September

In the wake of complaints that Nintendo intentionally shipped low numbers to drive up demand for the SNES Classic, Nintendo revealed in their latest earnings report they shipped relatively the same amount of consoles as they did with the Nintendo Switch earlier this year.

Granted, 1.7 million copies for a worldwide distribution is not overselling by any means, but it's definitely far more than Nintendo originally produced for the NES Classic. In fact, Nintendo only produced 2.3 million copies of the NES Classic between November 2016 and April 2017 before taking a break in production. With the SNES Classic already approaching that number, it's likely there will be far less problems finding consoles as the holiday season approaches.

At the same time, it's definitely not going to be as easy as walking into a store and finding one. Be sure to keep an eye on retailers in the coming weeks and sign up for email programs to be notified when your store receives a shipment! As the proud owner of an SNES Classic, I can attest it's worth the money, so make sure you have some money set aside for the next time it appears in stores!

Promo Trailer For Ryan Murphy’s 9-1-1 Cop Series with Angela Bassett and Connie Britton

Even though Fox has just begun production on Ryan Murphy's new drama 9-1-1, the network isn't wasting any time in promoting his upcoming broadcast series. The network released the first trailer during the World Series.

The show "explores the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives."

In the one-minute spot, we see Angela Bassett and the two newer additions to the cast — Connie Britton and Peter Krause, as a police first responders. The promo also confirms that the series will premiere in January, that's typically when the network runs its most hyped new series.

Check out the trailer below and let us know if it looks like a series worth checking out.

Red-Band Trailer For Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s CBS All Access Comedy Series NO ACTIVITY

CBS All Access has released a funny red-band trailer for their upcoming original comedy series No Activity. The series comes from Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Funny Or Die and it looks like it could be a great show worth checking! If you're already signed up with CBS All Access to watch Star Trek: Discovery, now you've got another series to look forward to watching! I enjoyed what I saw in this first trailer as it contained a few things that managed to make me laugh. Here's the synopsis:

No Activity celebrates the mundane in what should be a high stakes sting operation. Set against the world of a major drug cartel bust, the series follows two low-level cops who have spent far too much time in a car together; two criminals who are largely kept in the dark; two dispatch workers who haven’t really clicked; and two Mexican tunnelers who are in way too small a space considering they’ve only just met.

The series also has a great cast of actors that includes Patrick Brammall and Tim Meadows along with guest stars Mark Berry, Arturo Castro, Mackenzie Davis, Bridget Everett, Will Ferrell, Darren Gilshenan, Travis Guba, Jake Johnson, Sunita Mani, Jason Mantzoukas, Adrian Martinez, Jesse Plemons, Fred Pohl, Alex Rodriguez, Amy Sedaris, J.K. Simmons, Courtenay Taylor, Michaela Watkins and Daniel Zolghadri.

Ever episode of No Activity will be directed by Trent O’Donnell and it's set to be released on November 12th. I Laos include a couple of posters and a bunch of photos for you to check out below the trailer. Now, watch the trailer and tell us what you think!

New Trailer For Marvel’s Upcoming SPIDER-MAN Game Brings Peter Parker and Miles Morales Together

Sony has revealed a fantastic new trailer for Marvel's upcoming Spider-Man video game that is coming exclusively to PlayStation 4. The new trailer offers up more insight into the story and the characters who will be involved like Miles Morales, who comes in to help Peter Parker. It looks like Morales will have a bigger role in the game than we previously thought! This is one of the games that I'm really excited about playing next year!

Marvel's Spider-Man is being developed by Insomniac Games and this is the synopsis that has been released:

Starring the world’s most iconic Super Hero, Spider-Man features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. From traversing with parkour and utilizing the environment, to new combat and blockbuster set pieces, it’s Spider-Man unlike any you’ve played before.
Marvel and Insomniac Games have teamed up to create a brand-new and authentic Spider-Man story. This isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met before, or seen in a movie. This is an experienced Peter Parker who’s more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City. At the same time he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of nine million New Yorkers rests upon his shoulders.
An experienced Spider-Man with several years of crime fighting under his belt, Peter Parker has sheer mastery of his powerful spider-sense, dynamic skills, acrobatic abilities and new suit. This is an all-new Spider-Man universe, featuring familiar characters in unfamiliar roles. Take control of a complex dual life, as a young adult with great powers… and evolving relationships. Swing freely through Marvel’s New York City in epic action set-pieces filled with a rich narrative and relatable characters.

Marvel’s Spider-Man will arrive exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2018.

It Sounds Like THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT Might End Up as a TV Series

The Blair Witch Project was a great horror film for its time and it was a ridiculously huge success. One of the most successful horror films in history. It definitely had one of the best movie marketing campaigns ever because it made people think that the events that took place in the movie were real. I wish the sequels could say the same, but unfortunately, they were a let-down.

The first sequel was called Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 and it was released in 2000. The other sequel was released in 2016 and it was simply called Blair Witch. I didn't care for either movie. They've had a hard time tapping into the magic that the first film had. The filmmakers just keep missing the mark.

Well, we may not have seen the last of The Blair Witch Project! According to co-creator Eduardo Sanchez, they are looking at the possibility of developing a TV series. While a guest on the Diminishing Returns podcast, Sanchez talked about the possible series saying:

Sanchez: “For us, it’s a very natural thing to go and say “Hey, let’s do a frickin’ Blair Witch show and you can say it’s from the original creators and we can bring in a whole bunch of interesting directors to direct episodes”.

Diminishing Returns: Would you see that as an anthology thing with prequel episodes or would it all be found-footage stuff?

Sanchez: “Well, you know. I can’t really discuss. I think that the idea of a Blair Witch anthology has always been very – just a really interesting thing. You’re close. You’re in the ballpark. You know, and I think it might be one of those things that might be – you know? The more you think about it, you’re like “That might be the perfect… a TV show. You know?” So, we’ll see what happens, but I think that’s the next big thing for Blair Witch. Probably TV.”

There's no word on if this series would be a continuation of the films or a reboot. But, we'll eventually find out if Lionsgate decides that they want to move forward with a series project.

I'd be up for a Blair Witch series if they actually did something interesting with it! If it's going to be more of the same of what we've already seen done previously, then there's no point.

What would you like to see from a Blair Witch series?

People Are Sourcing FAMILY GUY For Referencing Kevin Spacey’s Recent Controversy Years Ago

It appears that every time a terrible thing surfaces about a high profile celebrity, there were always clues from other celebrities who tried to alert us to this years prior. Now, a day after Kevin Spacey has publicly apologized to actor Anthony Rapp following allegations the actor (46) made sexual advances on him when he was 14, people are watching and referencing this Family Guy clip:

That's definitely a little on the nose right? Who just makes that joke without some form of context that makes it funny? Was this joke even funny at the time? Is Family Guy just a bread trail of exposes on celebrities? What are your thoughts?

Trailer For Fan Film DRAGON BALL Z: LIGHT OF HOPE Looks Amazing

The world has waited a long time for a decent live-action Dragon Ball Z film, and they may finally get their wish. For a fan film, Dragon Ball Z: Light Of Hope looks amazing. The film looks to retell the story of Future Trunks and the timeline he escaped in hopes of saving his own future. The film lost a few points in my eyes when I saw Gohan still had both arms in the trailer, but I guess I can forgive that after watching these mind-blowing action sequences!

Check out the trailer below, and let us know whether or not you're interested in seeing the full thing!

Details on How The Ending of STRANGER THINGS Season 2 Sets Up Season 3

If you clicked on this article to read it, I'm sure you've already blazed through Stranger Things Season 2. If you haven't finished watching it yet, you probably don't want to read this article as it deals with the ending of the season.

I enjoyed the hell out of the second season, I thought it was a fantastic continuation of what season one started. I liked that it took the characters in a direction that I didn't see coming. It ended up being quite surprising and I loved the outcome and how it came to a close. There was a great big Season 3 tease and in an interview with Screen Rant, the Duffer Bros. talk about how that ending sets up Season 3.

After we watch our favorite characters living a happy 80s life at a Jr. High dance playing classic 80s music, where a few characters steal their first kiss, everything flips over to the dark Upside Down. It's there where we see a giant evil shadow monster is ominously looking over the Jr. High gymnasium where the dance is being held.

Here's what series creators Ross and Matt Duffer had to say about that final shot and how it sets up Season 3:

“Yeah, we don’t end it on a totally happy note, do we? [Laughs] There were discussions about that, but then we went, ‘Nah, we have to hint at what’s to come.’ The hope we wanted people to get out of it is that this thing [is still out there]. They’ve shut the door on the Mind Flayer, but not only is it still there in the Upside Down, it’s very much aware of the kids, and particularly Eleven. It had not encountered her and her powers until that final episode. Now, it knows that she’s out there. We wanted to end on a little bit of an ominous note on that level.”

The Duffers then went on to explain that they didn't want a bunch of little cliffhangers like they had in Season 1. They wanted the ending to lead into a clean start for Season 3:

“Last year, we had a lot of little cliffhangers at the end of the season. We didn’t want to do that again. We didn’t want to box ourselves in for season three. We wanted to be able to start season three on a very clean slate. It felt totally unnecessary, when we had the Snow Ball. Once we had the Snow Ball, we didn’t know [if we wanted to do] anything else as an ending.”

I love what the Duffer Bros. have done with this series so far and I trust that they will give their fans an amazing third season! These guys have a solid handle on these characters and where they want to take them and I can't wait to see where the story goes in Season 3!

What did you all think of the ending of Stranger Things Season 2?

First Look at Katee Sackhoff as The Villainous Amunet Black in THE FLASH

A slew of photos have been released for The Flash's upcoming November 7th episode, "Girls Night Out", and a few of them offer us out first look at Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff as the villainous Amunet Black a.k.a. Blacksmith, and she looks great! It's like she stepped right out of a David Bowie music video. The episode, which centers on the Bachelor and Bachelorette parties celebrating West and Allen's union, will also include a guest appearance from Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards, whose Felicity will be hitting the town with Iris and Caitlin.

Here's the synopsis that was released for "Girl Night Out":

KATEE SACKHOFF ("BATTLESTAR GALACTICA") AND EMILY BETT RICKARDS ("ARROW") GUEST STAR - Having received an ominous threat from her old boss, Amunet (guest star Katee Sackhoff), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) fears that her past time as Killer Frost may be back to haunt her. Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) comes to Central City to help the girls celebrate Iris's (Candice Patton) bachelorette party, while Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and the guys take Barry out for a night on the town. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Lauren Certo & Kristen Kim (#405). Original airdate 11/7/2017.

Judging from these photos, it looks like things get pretty wild! It looks like Barry and the boys end up spending a little time in jail!
