Watch Jerry Seinfeld Perform For Frank And Claire Underwood In Hilarious Netflix Commercial

Jerry Seinfeld's stand-up special Jerry Before Seinfeld launched earlier this week, so in honor of that here's yet another new commercial from Netflix that plays off their ad campaign "Netflix Is A Joke." In it, Jerry tries to entertain Frank and Claire Underwood from House Of Cards as the two stare at each other in silence, and in his typical Seinfeld way, Jerry makes the moment way funnier than it should be!

Check him out in action below, and be sure to check out his special on Netflix!

Radical New STRANGER THINGS Poster is Inspired By THE GOONIES!

A couple new posters have been released for Stranger Things. The poster above awesomely pays tribute to the classic 1985 adventure film The Goonies. It came along with the caption, "Join the Adventure". Don't mind if I do! The second poster below features Will facing down a terrifying villainous threat.

If you haven't seen any of the other previously released 80s tribute posters for Stranger Things, some of the others include Jaws, Firestarter, The Running ManAlien, A Nightmare on Elm StreetStand By Me, and Evil Dead.

California TV Broadcasts Were Interrupted By Mysterious Alien Invasion Messages – “Extremely Violent Times Will Come”

Wow! It's been awhile since I've heard of anyone hacking into a TV broadcast system! But, it happened on Thursday morning when a lot of people in the Orange County area of California were treated to some emergency alert messages warning of an alien invasion and that the apocalypse was coming.

One video of the broadcast's was uploaded to YouTube and it features a terrified voice saying:

“The space program made contact with... They are not what they claim to be. They have infiltrated a lot of, uh, a lot of aspects of military establishment, particularly Area 51. The disasters that are coming—the military—I’m sorry the government knows about them...”

Watch it below:

According to Gizmodo, the audio comes from a call that Art Bell, the host of the conspiracy theory-themed radio show Coast to Coast AM, received in 1997 from a man claiming to be a former Area 51 employee.

Another unauthorized faked emergency broadcast features a different voice warning that "extremely violent times will come." One person who heard it told the Orange Country Register:

"It almost sounded like Hitler talking. It sounded like a radio broadcast coming through the television."

Another woman said:

“I was definitely startled, ’cause the volume increased exponentially. I wasn’t alarmed in the sense of thinking something was wrong, ’cause I assumed it was some sort of hack. My channel changed back to Bravo after a couple minutes.”

Cox and Spectrum are currently investigating who sent out the alert, which was obviously a prank, and it's a great prank it was! Someone just trying to replicate the same kind of fear that Orson Wells' 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast had on people.  I wish I would have experienced it when it popped up!

I don't know, I think this whole thing is kinda cool. What do you think? Here's another recording.

CAPTAIN MARVEL Star Brie Larson Says She Plans on Directing a Marvel Movie

It's going to be awhile before we get to see Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Her solo film doesn't even come out until 2019, but the actress is planning to eventually take her involvement with Marvel even further. During a recent interview with The Huffington Post, she was asked if she would ever direct a Marvel film and she said:

"Oh yeah, that’s my plan. Why not? My new life philosophy is I’m not going to tell myself no. I’m just going to do stuff until someone else tells me no."

Larson made her directorial debut with a film called Unicorn Store, which is about a woman named Kit who receives a mysterious invitation that would fulfill her childhood dreams. The movie is described as a "replica of your teenage mood board: It has glitter, splashes of pink, annoying parents, vibrant ribbons and, of course, a shiny white mythological beast."

I have no idea if Larson is a good director or not, but the fact that she is getting out there and getting behind the camera is great! If she keeps it up and ends up making great films, who's to say she won't end up directing a Marvel film one day.

Would you think about the possibility of the Captain Marvel star directing a movie set in the MCU one day?

Netflix Releases First Haunting Trailer For Their Film Adaptation of Stephen King’s 1922 with Thomas Jane

Netflix produced a film adaptation of Stephen King's novella 1922 and today they've released the first trailer. The movie stars Thomas Jane (The Punisher, The Mist) and it looks like a freakin' great and creepy movie! I don't know why, but I was surprised by this trailer and how good the movie looks. I'm super excited about seeing this! If you're not familiar with the story, here's the synopsis:

1922 is based on Stephen King's 131-page story telling of a man's confession of his wife's murder.  The tale is told from the perspective of Wilfred James, the story's unreliable narrator who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, with his son in Nebraska. But after he buries her body, he finds himself terrorized by rats and, as his life begins to unravel, becomes convinced his wife is haunting him.

The movie was written and directed by Zak Hilditch and it also stars Molly Parker, Dylan Schmid, Kaitlyn Bernard, Brian d’Arcy James and Neal McDonough. There's no release date yet, but I can't wait to watch it!

Kyle MacLachlan Shares An Awkward Moment During A Sex Scene On TWIN PEAKS

Apparently, that sex scene Kyle MacLachlan had with Naomi Watts during their sex scene on Twin Peaks was a bit awkward. Of course, one would imagine that most scenes on the set of a show that bizarre would feel a bit awkward, but I digress. Maclachlan shares the moment, which featured an uncontrollable flopping of hands, below and Judi Dench shares she's down for any and all sex scenes she's had in her career!

Were you satisfied with the final run of Twin Peaks?

First Gameplay Footage For FIST OF THE NORTH STAR Game Looks Amazing

If you're a fan of Fist Of The North Star, or just anime in general, you're going to be very happy with what you see in this video! Some new gameplay for the game (called Hokuto ga Gotoku in Japan) just hit the web, and visually, it looks fantastic! Gameplay wise think the battles look a bit repetitive, but that might just be from the way the guy demoing is playing the game. Beyond the repetitive punches and mask ripping, the special kills are as insane as they were in the anime!

The game is expected to launch February 22nd, 2018 in Japan, and unfortunately, there is no release date for anyone else at this time. Let's hope this game gets some love stateside so we can see it come to the PS4 over here!
