New JUSTICE LEAGUE Promo Art Features The Team Assembled and Ready For Battle

We've got two new pieces of promo art to share with you today for Justice League. The first features the team gathered together and ready for battle. This is one of the few promos that features Superman. I'm not convinced that this is how Superman is going to look in the film, though. I really want to see Henry Cavill in that all black Superman suit.

The second promo piece features Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. It also includes the word "Leadership" in big bold letters.

Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

The movie will be a product of director's Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon. It also stars Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard as Mera, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, with J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 10th.

Seems Like David Harbour Just Confirmed STRANGER THINGS Season 3

It seems like Stranger Things star David Harbour, who plays police chief Jim Hopper, has unintentionally confirmed a Season 3 of the hit sci-fi Netflix series. Season 1 of the series was a smash hit that scored all kinds of critical acclaim. So it came as no surprise when Netflix renewed the show for a second season, which will premiere in October.

During an interview with TMZ Harbour let it slip that the streaming service may have already also ordered season 3 of Stranger Things. While talking about the young cast growing up and how their growth affects the shoot, Harbour said:

“In season 2 and season 3 they’ll grow up, you’ll watch them grow up.” When pushed on whether season 3 has been officially ordered by Netflix, Harbour backpedaled a bit and said, “I think so, but if they hate season 2 then maybe not. But I think there’ll be a season 3.”

Stranger Things showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer do have multiple seasons of Stranger Things planned, so if the show’s second outing is as successful as its first, it’s pretty likely Netflix will renew the show for Season 3. Plus one of the Duffers revealed last year that Netflix gave them the go ahead on Stranger Things season 2 before season 1 even premiered, so it is believable that the streaming service has already told the cast and creative team to start working on Season 3. If Netflix wants to keep the time between Stranger Things seasons down to a minimum, the showrunners will need to start work on season 3 soon.

It is also possible that Netflix hasn’t officially renewed the show yet and is waiting to see how Season 2 performs because there is a chance that excitement may have cooled off. But if Season 2 gets positive reactions, hopefully, Netflix will officially announce Season 3.

Stranger Things season 2 arrives on Netflix on October 27.

THE EXORCIST Director William Friedkin is Coming To THE SIMPSONS’ “Treehouse of Horror XXVIII”

One of the things I look forward to most during the Halloween season is watching The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" special. It's just something that has become a tradition. I can't even imagine Halloween without out it! Hell, I grew up with The Simpsons! That family has been in my life since I was 11-years-old!

I've got some cool news regarding the upcoming "Treehouse of Horror XXVIII" that all you hardcore horror fans will appreciate. According to TV Line, William Friedkin, the director of the classic 1973 horror film The Exorcist, will lend his voice to a character in the special!

Friedkin will play Dr. Kenneth Humphries in a chapter titled “MMM… Homer,” which finds Homer cannibalizing himself after he runs out of food while Marge and the kids are away from home. We can’t say for sure how Dr. Humphries will factor into Homer’s predicament, but we hope he’ll offer some much-needed medical advice — perhaps something along the lines of, “Stop eating yourself!”

That sounds like a hilarious segment! It was also announced that Ben Daniels, who plays Father Marcus on Fox’s Exorcist series, will provide the voice of a priest in the upcoming Halloween special in a segment titled "Exor-sis."

It seems like the "Treehouse of Horror" specials aren't as hardcore or crazy as they used to be, but they're still fun to watch! "Treehouse of Horror XXVIII" will air Sunday, October 22nd.

Trailer For the Atmospheric Neo-Noir Murder Mystery Thriller GEMINI

The first trailer has been released for a new neo-noir murder mystery thriller called Gemini. The movie looks pretty good and has been met with some positive reviews. So, if you like these kinds of movies, this might be worth checking out. The movie seems to have the same kind of atmospheric vibe as Drive and The Neon Demon. The movie wasn't directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, though. It was written and directed by Aaron Katz and it stars Lola Kirke, Zoë Kravitz, Nelson Franklin, Greta Lee, James Ransone, and John Cho. Here's the brief synopsis:

A heinous crime tests the complex relationship between a tenacious personal assistant and her Hollywood starlet boss. As the assistant unravels the mystery, she must confront her own understanding of friendship, truth, and celebrity.

Gemini opens in spring 2018. Check out the trailer below and let us know if it looks like something you'd want to watch!

Emma Stone Is The Highest Paid Actress In 2017

Emma Stone is Hollywood's highest paid actress in 2017. Stone, who netted $26 million before taxes, has La La Land to thank for a bulk of that payday as well as Jennifer Lawrence, who after two years on top has dropped down the list to the three spot.

Believe it or not, the second highest paid actress this year was Jennifer Aniston who made a whole bunch of money from deals with corporate sponsors. I remember her Aveeno ads, although the Smart Water and Emirates Airlines ads escape me.

Highest paid and her first Oscar in one year? Sounds like Emma Stone has a lot to smile about in 2017! Thanks GameSpot for the heads up!

Menacing Alternate Design For Captain America’s Venomverse Costume

As you may have heard, Marvel Comics' "Edge of Venomverse" series is giving the Marvel Universe a complete Venom overhaul. A lot of classic Marvel characters are being infused with the Venom Symbiote. So far we've seen X-23 merge with Venom, Gwenpool, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, and even Captain America, which you can see above.

Marvel artist Mike Hawthorne helped in developing the character designs for the "Edge of Venomverse" series and he has released an alternate design for the Venom version of Captain America and it's a lot more menacing looking than the design they ended up using that you can see above.

Hawthorne posted the images with the caption:

"Want a peek behind the scenes? Ok, I'm going to share some of the character design work I did for Marvel's Venomverse event where various Marvel characters get the venom symbiote. First up, Captain America (Captain Venom?). Anyway, enjoy!"

This is a much burlier version and he looks a lot crazier. It's definitely a more wild design and I like it! I think it's better than what they ended up using. That version doesn't look menacing at all. I guess they didn't want to go with the meaning look for Cap, though.

Check out the alternated designs below and tell us what you think! You can find more details on the "Edge of Venomverse" series below the art.
